First Home Buyers Package
To help more first home buyers enter the property market, we offer a discounted fixed fee buyers agent service for eligible first home buyers purchasing either an owner-occupied property or an investment property.
Fee Structure
- $4,000 + GST Engagement Fee (payable upon signing our Buyer Agency Agreement)
- $13,000 + GST Success Fee (in addition to the Engagement Fee)
The Success Fee is payable within 7 days of the property contract becoming unconditional.
Eligibility Criteria
To qualify for our First Home Buyer Package, purchasers must generally:
- Be purchasing their first property anywhere in the world
- Purchase a Brisbane property with a value of $1,000,000 or less
- Have a taxable income of less than $100,000 per annum (single applicants)
- Have a combined taxable income of less than $160,000 per annum (joint applicants)
- Have genuine capacity to proceed with a purchase and finance approval where required
Standard Buyer's Agent Fees
For Brisbane purchases up to $1.3 million:
- $4,000 + GST Engagement Fee (payable upon signing our Buyer Agency Agreement)
- 2.5% of the purchase price + GST Success Fee (in addition to the Engagement Fee)
The Success Fee is payable within 7 days of the property contract becoming unconditional.
For clients who prefer certainty around costs, LJ Buyers Agency may offer the option to fix the Success Fee at an agreed amount prior to commencing the search.

Premium Buyer's Agent Fees
For higher-value Brisbane property purchases, we offer competitive fixed-fee pricing:

As required under REIQ and Queensland property legislation, LJBA will always clearly disclose all fees, commissions and payment deadlines in your Property Occupations (PO) Form 6 appointment agreement.

We are so confident in our ability to help clients secure the right property that we offer a 90-Day Engagement Fee Refund Guarantee.
If we are unable to secure a property under contract within 90 days of engagement, you may elect to terminate our agreement and receive a full refund of your Engagement Fee.

- You respond to communications, approvals and requests within two business days
- You provide accurate information and clear instructions
- You do not substantially change your budget, location, property type or search criteria during the engagement
